Mama Cass is about 10 years old, and a bigger girl at 15 lbs. She's a mellow girl, preferring to snuggle in a cozy bed or cat tree while the younger cats run around like crazy. She is so sweet and leans in when you give her pets. Because of her past, we don't know how she is with kids or dogs, though she doesn't mind the other cats in her free roam room. Overall, a relatively calm home would make this older girl the happiest. Our sweet Mama Cass is waiting for someone like you! Berlioz here is only of the cats from the 21-cat hoarding case we were able to help out with - we took a total of 8 and many have already found loving homes!

Just over 6 years old, Cookie came from an over-breeding situation. As you can see, her face is more "squished" than a normal Persian would be. We were told they were "Exotic Persians", a mix of Persian and Exotic Shorthair. She has already had some teeth extracted as they were not in good shape when she arrived.Cookie is so sweet and affectionate! She's so easy going and gets along with everyone! She has such a funny personality and is always entertaining us.
Adoptable Dogs
She is the most quiet of the four who came here in search of new homes, but super friendly! She is also calm and will come right up to you for attention, especially if you're laying on the couch - get ready for some snuggles! Plus, she's got that adorable snaggle tooth!
Meet Eric or Slide
Smokey would do great in most homes (he's never been with kids, but he's so sweet and gentle we think he'd be fine!), however he's not a fan of cats. Otherwise he's a perfect gentleman, so won't you give him the love he deserves?? Our handsome Hans is here, ready for his forever home!
And she is such a sweet pup, everyone who meets her can't help but love her! Athena came to us from an overcrowded shelter in New York. We're still learning about her, but one thing is certain - she is absolutely endearing with the way she always carries around a stuffed animal! She won't leave her run without it, but she will drop it just to say hi to you and give you kisses!
She enjoys attention and would love to meet you, too! Jerry was one half of the "Tom and Jerry" duo - but with his friend having been adopted, Jerry is lonely - he'd love to go home with YOU! Jerry came from an overcrowded shelter, where he and Tom were caged together.
Blondie Boy
Luigi here is only of the cats from the 21-cat hoarding case we were able to help out with - we took a total of 8 and many have already found loving homes! Despite where they came from, Luigi is still very friendly, and enjoys being pet, lounging around, and playing, too! They previously lived with many other cats, plus a large dog and kids. Come give these incredible cats a second chance! If you're ready to meet any of these sweeties, fill out an adoption questionnaire at /adopt. Our handsome boy Mateo came to us all the way from Louisiana to find his forever home!
Like any other puppy she'll need training to be the best pup she can be. Handsome Bear came to us when his previous family was no longer able to care for him. We are looking for a special adopter for this special boy!

Bubba and Molly
Mercy came to us from an overcrowded shelter; he had been trapped as part of a TNR effort, but clearly had been someone's pet at some time because of how outgoing he is. Our handsome Rail came to us all the way from Virginia to find his forever home. We know it won't take long for a fun dog like him to find a home! Rail came to us with his friends Nelson and River. Although we don't know much about their past, we know that they have been around both cats AND dogs, so they would fit into pretty much any home! This handsome fellow is about 40 lbs and just 2 years old!
He is shy at first but eager for attention - he just needs to know he can trust you after being through so much.Won't you be the hero in June's story? Our overall mission is not only to place animals into loving homes but to promote spay and neuter to alleviate the problem of homeless animals and overcrowded shelters. We value the bond people have with animals and strive to give each homeless animal a family that will love and care for them for a lifetime. Loki recently came to us with his friend Athena, but where she'll have you saying, "Aww!" with how endearing his, he'll have you laughing with his antics! Loki is about 1 1/2 years old, and came to us from an overcrowded shelter in New York, so we're still getting to know this goofball. He's your typical, energetic husky who just loves to have fun!
She especially loves playing with her other cat friends in her free roam room. She definitely needs a friend to play with so she can have lots of fun! We also think she'd be fine with most kids and cat-friendly dogs, too! If you're a fan of the Disney movie The Aristocats, now is your chance to adopt one of your very own!
She's previously lived with cats and a Boston Terrier! Right now her BFF is Zelda (pictured with her) who has a similar personality.Molly is a quiet girl; a little shy at first; but she slept in bed every night with her owner. Wouldn't you love a cuddle bug to sleep with at night?
He's definitely the boss and seems to have no fear! Newt likes attention but not to be squeezed. Our lovable Smokey has been down on his luck - but you can change that by giving him a forever home! Smokey originally came to us a few years ago from Virginia with his friend Dai Dai.
Dominga came to us through a partner rescue when they pulled her from a high volume shelter, so while we don't know about her past, we do know she's an incredible girl! She loves to "talk" to you, mostly to ask for more love and attention. Even when she's relaxing, she's a very social girl! With a name like Sinatra, we're happy that this handsome boy's long journey from Louisiana brought him here to NJ to find his forever home!
She does fine with the other cats in her free roam room, and when a visiting dog came to her previous home for a week she did fine as well! She'd never lived with kids but we think she'd be very happy with a family - so she can get even more love! Come meet this sweet girl and give her the home she's been looking for!
